Local SCIENCE CLASSES

Homeschool Zoocademy at Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is designed for students ages 5-12 and covers a wide range of topics in biology, zoology, environmental science, conservation and more. Alongside one of our Zoo Educators, your student will explore the Zoo and the natural world around them! Students will "learn the wild way" through both classroom education and real-world experiences. Classes are divided by age group and offer lessons best suited to their grade level. 

RoboThink is a step-by-step international learning program. Our exciting STEM programs develop core STEM skills that students apply to school subjects and their future careers, while fostering a love for science and robotics. With RoboThink’s exclusive robotics kit and our STEAM curriculum that is NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) aligned, students have a blast learning about robotics, engineering, technology and other STEM subjects.

Our E-STEAM camps have a variety of programs from developing and designing self-driving cars, to being a NASA engineer, to creating mars rovers or Zoo animals that are sure to engage and spark an interest in STEM within kids ages 5-12.

Jax Dragonfly Academy provides hands-on science and nature education to families in Jacksonville. We offer camps, clubs, and educational classes.

Edison Kids is a homeschool group that provides STEM & Robotics resources and workshops to homeschoolers in Northeast Florida. Membership to Edison Kids is required, and we are a faith-based program. We are open to all ages of students and offer various age levels.

Code Ninjas teach coding in a fun, non-intimidating way – by playing and building video games they love. Kids have a blast and can’t wait to come back. Parents are thrilled as their children gain confidence and new skills including coding, math, logic, and problem-solving, as they progress from white to black belt. Our core promise is, Kids have fun, parents see results. We believe in these words so much that it’s written on the walls in our center.  We offer special Homeschool programs and discounted rates for groups of 10 or more.
