We are parents dedicated to giving our children rich and real childhood in a way that fits us as individuals. Secular families, and families of any faith are welcome. This group is for homeschooling families living in Yulee and Fernandina Beach, FL.
We are Charlotte Mason inspired, but open to all. We will hold group nature study gatherings, hikes, outdoor study halls, kickball and volleyball games and beach and park days with laid-back, open-minded families. This is a participation required group. Parents are encouraged to offer lessons or host group gatherings in any type of academic or enrichment activity they fell would be a good fit for the group.
Sunshine Homeschoolers is the premier Greater Jacksonville Homeschool group… Nah, we’re just kidding. We are an eclectic group of parents trying to prepare our children for their futures. We are unschooled, chill-schoolers, and traditional homeschoolers. We always try to remember, it’s about the kids. The great parental relationships are bonus. We embrace our differences and always try to make everyone feel welcome.
A group for Wilds homeschoolers in the Jacksonville Florida area-homeschoolers who love to be outside and explore with others. Everyone is welcome regardless of any religion, any spirituality or beliefs but religion and politics aren't part of the group itself.

Flow & Grow is a meet up for like-minded families who embrace the flow of early childhood and all of the opportunities to grow and learn outside in nature. The activities are best suited for preschool/kindergarten range but siblings of all ages are welcome. We follow a seasonal calendar and focus on different themes each week such as: Fungus, Moss, Lichen, Weather, Christmas plants, Bird study, Winter solstice and so on. In keeping with the theme of the week, we take nature walks, include activities, crafts, books, possibly themed snacks and have plenty of time for free play at the end. Most days cost nothing, but some have a very small supply fee. Starting in January 2024, we will also be limiting the group to active members. It’s okay if you can’t come every week, but we do want to foster deep connections within the group, which is really only possible with consistency.
Our group vibe is pretty crunchy, gentle parenting, a mix of Christian and non-religious, supportive families.

“We don't all homeschool the same way. That's what makes Wild + Free so unique. We are knit together by our love for nature and committed to preserving childhood for the little ones in our care.
We are mothers of many children and mothers of an only child. We are stay-at-home moms and working mothers who homeschool whenever we can. We love Charlotte Mason, Waldorf, Montessori and Unschooling. And if you take an eclectic approach by doing a little of everything, that's fine by us.
We make the world our classroom and follow our curiosities wherever they lead. We make time for our children to wander and wonder, and we believe that boredom is the best fuel for creativity. We are Wild + Free AND you are welcome here!”
The Saint Augustine chapter is active year round and open to any mother in the greater northeast region of Florida who is actively homeschooling. Our chapter is focused on those children ages 7 and up! Younger children are welcome to join in but may not be able to always participate and a once a month minimum attendance policy as well as participation on a committee is in place to be a member.
The main weekly activity is nature exploration through hiking with additional opportunities for nature study, book club, enrichment programs, handicrafts and mother culture events offered periodically.
Weekly events are held on Thursdays 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM mainly within a two hour drive of Saint Augustine and we explore the beautiful state of Florida in all weather conditions except those that are severe so plan accordingly.
We are not a CO-OP but rather a community of like-minded mothers working together to help our children wander within nature and looking forward to having you come join us on our weekly adventures.

Vilano Beach Homeschoolers Run Climb and Play” is a homeschool group in Vilano Beach. We have families who join us from all over St. Augustine and surrounding areas.
The name of the title describes our group. If you’re a family that likes to take care of school at home, and then go out to be active with a consistent, tight-knit group of homeschool families, this is a great group to be part of!
Our group meets twice a week on Tuesdays (North Beach Park) and Thursdays (Treaty Park) so kids can get together and “run, climb, and play”.
Tuesday Meet Ups involve tree climbing, playing freeze tag, hide-and-seek, playing on the playground, and then heading across the street to the beach. This meet up can last up to 5 hours! And kids ages 3-15 play the entire time!
Thursday Meet Ups involve hiking in the woods, playing with the ducks, playing soccer, riding bikes and scooters, playing tag games on the big playground, and riding scooters at the Skate Park.
Requirements for “Vilano Beach Homeschoolers Run Climb and Play” include coming to at least one meet up per week at the scheduled time. And group members must organize at least one field trip per year for the group.
If you have more questions, we have your answers on our “Vilano Beach Homeschoolers Run Climb and Play” Facebook page. Scroll through and check it out! We would love to meet you!
