Jax Teach is working to support local businesses in Northeast Florida, while giving you the opportunity to SAVE BIG BUCKS on educational offerings. Here is what we have currently:

As part of our Back to (Home)School Bash, Ripley Entertainment is celebrating with us! They are giving early Educator Appreciation Deals. One parent will get FREE access to one or all of the exhibits listed and the rest of their guests will get 50% off. Our offer is valid Tuesday, August 20th and ends on September 20th. **Memorial day weekend is blacked out due to capacity issues.  

In order to receive the discount, they are requiring that we show proof of association with Jax Teach with an ID card or printout that includes your name (their rule, not mine.) Please see attached ID template that your family may use on Canva. Canva is a FREE program and it should be pretty easy to edit. 

 St. Augustine Aquarium

With registration, your family will get a tour of the exhibits by a marine biologist with 40% off of regular admission costs! Through September 20th you can use code Jax Teach 4024. Amelia Island Kayak Excursions

40% off our Lofton Creek Guided Kayak Tour: Experience “old Florida” on this guided kayak tour. Guests will paddle Florida’s black water known for its reflective properties which enhance the already natural beauty of the creek. Meandering through this wooded environment, guests can enjoy seeing the various aquatic vegetation while keeping an eye out for birds and other wildlife that nature has to offer in our area. A fun outing for all experience levels. Single and Tandem kayaks. Complimentary Jump Seats for young children. We provide professional, personable, and fun guides; quality kayaks; paddles; PDF’s; basic paddling instructions; a complimentary bottle of water per paddler; and as a gift from our family to the group, our guides carry waterproof cameras, so they can take pictures of your group on the water. That evening, we will create a complimentary photo album for you on our business Facebook page and or website for you to copy and share.

Amelia Island Kayak Excursions is a local family owned and operated, multi-award-winning business. We offer professionally guided kayak tours/rentals, Hobie Mirage® Kayaks, SUP’s, private motorboat tours, teen/kids camps, Master Naturalist – led interactive hikes, beach relays, and special events for Amelia Island, Cumberland Island, and the surrounding areas. This is a great Facebook site which posts sales on items that teachers may need. There are educational products, office supplies and teaching basics featured with posts daily or a few times a week. It’s a manageable site that doesn’t over post or provide deals on junk products.

If you find yourself with electronic curriculum and you the best way to print outside of your home, I highly recommend The Homeschool Printing Company. Their rates are excellent, they use quality products, and the site is very user friendly. The downside is that there is always a long turnaround time, so don't wait until you need the materials.
