Explore Scholarships

Our hope is to have someone local, who is very knowledgeable on Florida home educator scholarships to assist with this section. I do not want it filled with inaccurate information. If this may be you, please send us a direct message with your interest to help.

In the interim, please find basic information from The Florida Department of Education regarding the Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES), which is available for home education students. Please contact the scholarship funding organizations (SFO) with questions pertaining to the Family Empowerment Scholarship. New for the 2023-2024 school year is the Personal Education Program (PEP), which is a scholarship for students who are not enrolled in a public or private school. I highly suggest you research this scholarship from all three of these places:

1. The Step Up for Students website where you can learn more and apply for the scholarship. 
2. The FTC Scholarship PEP Parent Support Group on Facebook page that was created to answer all PEP questions. If you choose to apply for the PEP scholarship 
3. Please consult YouTube for how to apply, as it is an easy process, but confusing.
