Each Nature's Newbies class will engage you and your child in unstructured free-choice play centers followed by a song and story! Programs will also feature a positive and engaging interaction with one of the Zoo's animal ambassadors to allow for an up-close encounter during each class. This class is heavily reliant on caregiver/child interaction.

AGES 3-5
Zoo Tots typically last one hour and incorporate activities, stories, and crafts along with hands-on learning. Choose from individual classes starting at $20 per child (includes class admission for one child and one adult) or buy a full semester to enjoy more hands-on learning experiences. Classes take place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

This special class is designed for children ages 0-3 and a caregiver. Here at MOPS, we gather and support moms. We believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. Our acronym stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” because we began in 1973 when a group of moms with young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past 45 years, MOPS has expanded our reach to include ALL moms. In addition, we are partnering with churches and organizations worldwide to equip and encourage moms in more than 68 countries.
We couldn’t be happier that you’ve found us on this crazy beautiful journey called motherhood. We hope you’ve already connected with a MOPS group or a Mama Meetup™ but if not, use our group search tool to find the right one for you! Every mama nurtures and parents her kiddos differently, and it’s in those differences that we learn from each other. We are better together!
Multiple meetups with a wide variety of days and times are available locally and nationwide. Use the search function to find groups near you!

As a non-profit educational organization, it is important to Spring River School to provide space to bring our youngest community members together for playtime.
Because of that need, we established Spring River's Dewdrops, an unstructured parent-led playgroup with outdoor meet-ups once a week at local parks. This playgroup is for caregivers and their young children, ages birth to 5. Participation in Spring River programming is not a pre-requisite but we will ask parents a few preliminary questions before joining.
From babies who can bask in the warmth of father sun and drink in the songs of the birds, to five-year-olds who are bursting with energy and longing for that magic that occurs when creative young children can work and play together, and for every child in-between - Spring River Dewdrops Playgroup is for you!
This is also a space for parents to connect and grow in their journey of fostering a holistic Waldorf home.
Ask to join our Facebook Group Page or email admin@springriverschool.orgfor more information.
