Local Classes - Dance

At Faithbridge Fine Arts Ministry, we strive to reclaim the integrity and excellence of fine arts for the glory of God! We offer classes for ages 3 and up. The goal of FFAM is to equip your child with dance skills that will encourage them to grow in their motor skills, increase their self-esteem and offer positive social interaction with other Christian children. There will be monthly Christian devotions taught in every age group. At FFAM we want to reach out to the lost and offer them an opportunity for eternal life with God.

The Homeschool Class is a mixed age group from kindergarten to fifth grade.  This Beginner/Intermediate class will include ballet, jazz and lyrical. A minimum of four children needs to be enrolled in this class or it will be cancelled for the semester.

Ballroom Dance Academy offers weekly group classes supplemented with private lessons, if wanted, at a special discount for Home Schoolers. We specialize in American Style Ballroom which includes dances from Waltz to Swing. Classes emphasis teamwork, communication skills, physical activity as well as artistry and creativity. We also offer opportunities for performance and competition in a healthy and exciting environment.

Calling all homeschool families… we are opening a Wednesday morning dance class from 9/13-11/1. This is a beginner course that will teach the fundamentals of ballet, lyrical movement, tap, and jazz. Come dance with us!

We teach traditional Scottish dancing to the greater Jax area for girls and boys ages 4 - adults. Our goal is to not just be  a dance class, but a place for children to learn all about the culture, history, music, art, and dance of the Celtic people!

I started ACTD 18 years ago to offer children in the local Yulee area the excellent technical training and loving family environment I wanted for my own children. With our positive learning environment and passionate teachers, we are here to help your child chase their dance dreams. We carefully craft age-appropriate lesson plans and custom take-home materials for each class. We offer a wide variety of class options for ages 2-18, both recreational and competitive program classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, Lyrical, and contemporary that run throughout the year. We also offer short term options like our 10-week recital session with a chance to dance in one of our shows. 

New this year is Creative Writing with Miss Chelsea, our favorite local author! Characters, plot, ideas, and storytelling, oh my! With in class activities, take home assignments, and private correction, ages 11 & up learn how to craft their own stories with imagination and skill!

 Dancing Little Stars Florida has  home school dance class for our homeschoolers in St, Augustine! Our curriculum fits most 3–6-Year-olds but we have had beginning dancers as old as 9 enjoy class too!

We teach ballet and tap as our main curriculum , and have curriculum for hip hop and yoga we sometimes mix in to class!

We have a full scale recital at the end of May.

We now hold dance classes in our two locations: Anastasia Fitness Mondays 1-2pm and Solomon Calhoun Community Center Mondays 3:45-4:45pm  

Price: The price is $52 a month with a one time registration fee. Recital fee is $126 split into two payments and includes a costume and a medal. 

All-Starz Dance Studio’s mission is to help each dancer reach their fullest potential by giving them equal attention, respect and a quality education. Our staff aims to prepare them for life through self-discipline, growing their confidence and developing a positive attitude. We will focus on the idea that students should compete with and challenge only themselves in a continuous state of improvement. We aim to create a dance family environment where they will feel loved, nurtured and have a safe place to express themselves through movement. 

These classes will be able to participate in our many community events! Select classes perform at the OP Fall Festival, various Senior Centers and the Clay County Fair. All classes perform at the Fleming Island High School Homecoming parade and the Green Cove Springs Christmas Parade. The classes will also dance in our annual recital. There will be a $25 registration fee and a $125 recital fee.

Ancient City Aerial Arts is a cutting-edge aerial training center offering classes in aerial arts, as well as, flexibility training, handstands, dance fitness, and so much more! Our focus has been to provide a safe environment to explore your creativity while getting fit. Specifically designed for kids aged 8 and above, our Homeschool Aerial class allows them to experience all the aerial equipment available in the studio, including silks, hoop, and trapeze.
