To nurture natural learning, we provide an environment that is supportive and safe and encourages discovery, experimentation, and thoughtful inquires. We offer plenty of free, unstructured play that encourages problem solving, creative thinking, and facilitates healthy social interactions.

Spring River School is a flexible K-8 all-outdoor program supporting families who have chosen home education in Northeast Florida.  Our school offers hands-on  creative programming inspired by Waldorf learning methods, meeting each family with warmth and joy.  Students at our school are welcomed to a place of respect and encouragement, where they learn to be self-sufficient and are provided the space to flourish. The curriculum, pedagogy, and teaching methods are designed to nurture and realize each child's unique potential.​

 Art Enrichment:

Chapman Education Services offers a drop off art enrichment program for kids K-12. Each class offers an art project and no lesson will repeat, allowing for kids to take art semester after semester. We are a Step Up for Student Provider.

Home Education Program

Chapman Education Services offers a drop off Home Education Program. This program is 2.5 hours 3 days per week (or 2 day depending on parent preference). During each class we cover the 4 academic core classes meeting children where they are. Classes sizes are small with a 5:1 ratio. We are a Step Up for Student provider

We are a non-profit education center that provides classes, workshops, and events that educate homeschool groups, preschools, schools and the community. We have several homeschool enrichment programs at this time. We offer Seasonal Camps, Math in Nature, Farm Club, Stem Workshops which include beekeeping, hydroponics, and composting.

At Elevation, we strive to provide support that YOUR family needs. If you want to bring your child for PE, Music, and Art - you can do so. Or you'd like tutoring support for core subjects, you can sign up for the morning core learning as well. We are here to support your homeschooling journey.

 At Homeschool in Harmony, we provide the education we want to see for our own children. By allowing the children’s natural curiosities to guide their learning, we help foster a love of learning and help give them the tools to feed that love for a lifetime. We believe that this child guided learning, balanced with strong reading and math foundations bring harmony and further success. Classes are small group to ensure your child gets support for their specific needs.

Forest Gnomeschool is a 100% nature immersion kindergarten enrichment program where a child has the opportunity to delve into the true work of childhood: PLAY! Cringing with what to do for Kindergarten next year? Give them the DREAM YEAR at Forest Gnomeschool, where we nurture the growing child physically, emotionally, and intellectually. Remove the pressures of academic fatigue and replace them with confidence-building, self-regulation skills, resiliency, imagination, and empathy. Help your child become confidently inquisitive while learning through play! Enjoy hiking, beach field trips, kayaking, and family connection with group activities, camping, festivals, and more.

Forest Gnomeschool curriculum is designed for kindergarten-age 5-6-year-olds. We will be meeting 9am – 1pm, Monday-Thursday at a local park in Jacksonville, beachside.  We honor early childhood with a small group setting under the guidance and care of two highly trained and experienced teachers through LifeWays Early Childhood and Cedar Song Forest Educator Certification. Forest Gnomeschool is part of The Playgarden, Inc., the spark of Waldorf Inspired Education in Jacksonville Beach since 1995.

High School Students interested in Architecture/Interior Design, Construction, Engineering or the Trades Fields 

Registration is now open for ACE Mentoring! This award-winning program is open to 9-12 grade students interested in learning more about pursuing a career in the Architecture, Construction and Engineering industry or Trades Fields. Students will meet weekly to work on a hands on project and hear from mentors about career opportunities.

At these weekly meetings we have guest speakers from the architectural/design fields, engineering fields and construction fields. They talk about the education/skills needed to do their job and relate how their industry relates to the project, as well as approximately entry pay in their field. Students also work on their projects as a team during the meetings. 

Students are given an RFP (Request For Proposal) to design a building or other space. In the past ACE students have designed an urban park, a hotel, a restaurant, a library, a college gym, a café, a bridge, a traffic/highway/interchange solution, an Olympic Stadium, a Shoreline Design, and The Jacksonville Landing site among many others. 

 Students will have the opportunity to attend a field trip day (usually in March) and typically visit an architectural firm, engineering firm and construction firm/construction site. At the end of the year all of the ACE teams meet together to present their projects, then enjoy a nice catered lunch at the awards ceremony. 

In recent years, ACE students have had access to participate in a local college campus tour, Technology Bootcamp, Trades Day, Field Trip, and the ability to earn scholarship opportunities.
