Local Evaluators

Chapman Education Services provides private tutoring and homeschool evaluations for homeschooling families. We specialize in grades K-6: math, reading, science, and social studies. 

For homeschool evaluations we offer consultations to ensure you are collecting the correct information. We do accept the FES-UA scholarship.

SERVICES OFFERED (6 OPTIONS)

1) Florida Homeschool Portfolio Evaluations- I’ll review the material you and your children covered throughout the year. This is where you provide me with the items you did together! $25 per child. Discount for multiples children! Quick and easy! Stress free! I’m available any day of the week to do these! Message me and we can get it done!   

2) Level assessments- These help parents see where their children are academically in math and reading. The child and I meet on Zoom for this. I provide a write-up of the results stating level, strengths, areas of needed focus and some great sources to use! It doesn’t take too long and is also stress free for the children! I have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I’ve been doing these for years so it’s definitely been helpful to many.  Also offered: Would you like to have an idea of some topics your children should be studying in science?   My science assessment will bring children through numerous concepts to see what areas they have basic knowledge. Once completed, parents will receive a write-up of items: areas knew/what to focus on!   This is a basic test and will also provide you a list of science topics to explore. It’s a great way to determine what to work on at home!  - Completed through Zoom - Very relaxed  - I’ll walk them through the entire assessment   Another offering:  Math and/or Reading Vocabulary Assessment  There are so many terms in mathematics and reading discussed throughout the years. I have complied a massive list through research and studies. I will meet with your child to see what they know and words they may not be sure of. This is a fabulous way to see concepts of knowledge and topics that your child hasn’t heard of yet. You can build word walls, learning programs and your curriculum based off this information!   At the end of the assessment, I’ll e-mail you a copy of the terms so you can study at home throughout your educational journey!  Completed through Zoom - Very relaxed  - I’ll walk them through the entire assessment   

3) Educational/Curriculum Consulting to make your homeschool experience easier and very manageable! I’ll provide you resources and we talk about ways to best benefit you and your children!

5) Future Plans Discussion- coming up game a plan for the future! When I was in middle/high school it really helped me to have a conversation with someone other than a family member about my goals and next steps. This discussion can help figure out what classes, colleges, jobs, programs or scholarships may be right for your child! We can do research and look for great resources! Sometimes there are ways to even get paid to go to college! You never know what you can ‘dig up’ when looking into opportunities!  

6) Homeschool Starter- Do you have multiple questions on how to successfully get started homeschooling? During a 20 minute phone conversation, I can answer all your questions regarding the initial process and as well curriculum to use! We can come up with a solid plan on how you can start off strong and benefit your child!   * Even if you’ve been homeschooling for awhile, we can do this too!   Qualifications: CERTIFIED teacher!
